The concept for this project was to build a full advertising campaign around a single object. For my Ad Media class, I chose a Warsteiner beer glass I had, using it as the core for a campaign themed around Oktoberfest. I selected Warsteiner because it is a favorite German beer, and I was able to incorporate my own lederhosen from a past festival. I shot all the visuals myself in a studio using a camera on a timer. The campaign is directly based on Tulsa’s Oktoberfest while pulling inspiration from the original Munich festival. I designed both a billboard and a magazine ad that visually emphasize tradition and culture, not just product promotion.
